A huge thank you to @reeve.reece at SOS Combatives for the incredibly generous donation of martial arts equipment to Wellbeing Garon Park.

This equipment will play a vital role in helping us teach our @garonparkyouthclub members valuable self-protection skills through martial arts, while also building confidence, discipline, and resilience.

We’re extremely grateful for the support and are excited about the opportunities this creates for our young people. We look forward to working with Reece and SOS Combatives in the future to make an even bigger positive impact in our community.

Thank you again for your kindness and support 😊

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Katie, one of our wonderful volunteers at Wellbeing Garon Park. 😊

Katie has been an incredible support to our gardening group, and we truly value the dedication and attention to detail she brings every time she joins us. It’s been lovely to see her gradually increase her time with us, and we’re so pleased she’s now able to come along two mornings a week.

Your commitment makes a real difference, Katie not just to the garden, but to everyone involved. We’re very grateful to have you as part of the team. 💚

On Tuesday night our youth lead Anna was incredibly honoured to be asked to judge at the regional final of the @jackpetcheyfoundation Speak Out challenge delivered by the Speakers Trust, held at The King Edmund School. 🗣️ 🏅

Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge trains up to 30,000 young people a year in vital communication skills. Speakers Trust and the Jack Petchey Foundation share a vision for every young person to be able to speak and be heard and to believe in themselves. Their aim is to amplify young people’s voices by building confidence, developing skills and creating platforms for young people to share their stories and ideas to empower not only themselves but each other. In this way, they champion effective, positive communication to use in education, employability and social change.

The evening was packed with original and insightful ideas from young speakers. Congratulations to all the young people involved, it was an absolute pleasure to be part of this event. 👏

A big thank you to our wonderful kitchen volunteer, Caroline! 😊

Every Wednesday, Caroline brings her time, energy, and kindness to Wellbeing Garon Park, helping to prepare lunch for all our staff and volunteers. Her hard work behind the scenes makes such a difference to everyone’s day, and we are so grateful for everything she does.

Thank you, Caroline, for your dedication and for always serving up not just great food, but a warm and welcoming atmosphere too! 🥗
